Jazmine Sullivan
Jazmine Marie, who was born on September 9, 1987, in Philadelphia, is a popular American R&B and Soul performer. Born and raised in Philadelphia The album that she debuted on, Fearless was released in 2008. The album was a top contender for the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and was made platinum by Recording Industry Association of America. It spawned four singles, including "Need U Better" and "Bust Your Window" and both are in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart; it was the first single Sullivan had and the sole number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song Billboard chart. Sullivan released Love Me Back in 2010 as her second album of her own. It was well-received by reviewers. After taking a three-year break, Sullivan signed with RCA Records and debuted her first album of her own under this label Reality Show, in 2015. It was her first album to peak at #1 on the Top R&B Albums chart. Her most acclaimed album, Heaux Tales EP in 2021. It contains "Pick up Your feelings". Sullivan was honored with the following awards: two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award and three NAACP Image Awards. Time has listed her as among their top 100 influential individuals in 2022.
